Phase 1

Spend about two-and-a-half days composing and posting clear and succinct (140 character limit) priority actions for a U.S. Ed Department aimed at promoting and empowering a system that better prepares today�fs children for their future.

Phase 2

The submitted statements will be linked together according to topic, reducing the final list to no more than twenty basic action statements -- if possible.

Phase 3

Instructions

Calling educator bloggers to think about the topics on the left and the substatements, and and then talk about them in your blogs. If education is going to face forward, it will be because forward thinking people are telling new stories.

1. If you do not currently have a blog, you can set one up in less than ten minutes at blogger.com (Video tutorial here).
2. Scan through the eight topics to the left, selecting one, about which you would like to share your ideas. Write a blog entry with your insights about the topic or...
3. Click the plus (+) symbol to the right of the topic. This will cause a list of statements submited by others that were linked by the community to this topic. You initially see the most strongly linked statements. Click Show All to see all of the statements that were linked. This will produce a scrolling window that you can scroll through.
4. When you have finished your blog, include at the bottom of the article the tags assocated with the topics and statements you addressed. This will cause your blog to automatically be associated with that topic and/or statement, included in the final product.
5. Submit your blog article and view it. Then go to the following URL, substituting blogURL with the URL of your blog article.
